Caregivers Support Group

Join Hospice Care of America for this free support group which is open to anyone caring for a loved one.If your loved one deals with cancer, Alzheimer’s or any other chronic illness, this support group will assist you with resources and support to care for yourself and your loved one.

New Image – Breast Cancer Support Group
Date: The fourth Tuesday of each month
Time: 6:30pm
Location: Trident Cancer Center
Cost: Free

Share your feelings with other women who have had similar experiences; the laughter and the tears.The New Image Breast Cancer Support Group is a place where women gather to share their experiences, learn coping techniques and find emotional support through the strength and warmth of embracing friendships.This group meets the fourth Tuesday of each month.

Grief Support Group

Join Odyssey Hospice for this free support group which is open to anyone dealing with the loss of a loved one.

Cancer Support Programs – Hope Lodge
Periodic programs on nutrition, pain, music therapy, and relaxation along with a resource library are available at the ACS Hope Lodge located at Calhoun Street and Ashley Avenue in Charleston, SC.

CanCare is a non-profit cancer support service with a mission to improve the quality of life for cancer survivors and their families. CanCare is made up of a network of trained volunteers including survivors, family members of survivors, and medical professionals who provide emotional support, information, and cancer related resources.

Cancer Support Group – Mount Pleasant
All survivors and caretakers are welcome! Mt. Pleasant Presbyterian Church’s “Cancer Club – Where Hope Happens” meets every fourth Thursday at 6:30 p.m. in the Parlor, September through June. This support group is for all types of cancer. Located at 301 Hibben Street, Mount Pleasant, SC 29464.

Look Good Feel Better
This American Cancer Society program aims to renew self-esteem and confidence for women facing cancer. Held Mondays from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at various locations.

Brain & Spine Tumor Support Group
This support group is for patients and their family members dealing with brain and spine tumors and meets on a quarterly basis. This group offers the opportunity to meet with others to express concerns about their illness, share practical information, gain insights, and develop new relationships. Women’s Cancer Survivor Support Group
For female cancer patients currently undergoing treatment and those who have completed treatment.
